Courtney Swain is a vocalist, composer, and improviser based in Rhode Island, perhaps best-known for her work with Bent Knee. This collection presents a series of musical monologues – vocalized introspections that float and flicker past like thoughts forming in real-time. Its blend of layered vocal harmonies and abstract departures sets an honest, open tone, an invitation to share Courtney’s headspace for awhile.
The entire album was recorded inside of Habit.
